Hello, my name is Cory and as multifaceted as I am, there are only three things you need to know about me as a visitor to this site:
1. I am dirt poor.
2. I am a cork dork who knows a lot about wine. Viticulture, biochemistry, history, marketing and useless trivia… my brain is loaded with stuff that would bore you to tears.
3. A lot of wine has passed through my lips. (Heck, if there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s processing alcohol.)
Join me as I find, buy, taste, enjoy and complain about cheap wine and wine-related products. The majority of wines will be under $10, but the occasional wine may go as high as $15 or $20. To make this blog as appealing as possible, I will try to find wines available nation-wide in stores like Trader Joe’s and Safeway and wine-related products available online and prolific chain stores.
